The next Evolution of HeroShow
HeroShow 1.0 has already demonstrated how mixed reality can transform vehicle presentations in automotive retail. Models that are not physically available can be projected virtually into the real environment – in different variants, colors and configurations.
With HeroShow 2.0, this concept has been developed further with a clear focus on everyday use at the dealership, easier handling and greater flexibility. The result is a system that requires fewer components, is ready to use more quickly and integrates even more seamlessly into existing sales processes.
With HeroShow 2.0, this approach now becomes even more mobile, simple and flexible. On July 1, 2026, NXRT officially presented the new system for the first time as part of a digital premiere.
The Key Improvements at a Glance
With HeroShow 2.0, not only the hardware has been updated – the entire system has been further developed.
The improvements affect both the technical infrastructure and its practical use in day-to-day sales: from the new control tablet and integrated connectivity to automatic updates, the multifunctional suitcase and the new multi-brand capability.
Above all, this changes the way HeroShow is used. Components and processes that were previously separate are now combined and increasingly automated in HeroShow 2.0. The overview shows which areas have been further developed and how HeroShow 1.0 and 2.0 differ.
A new Control Tablet for an enhanced Presentation
HeroShow 2.0 introduces the Samsung Tab S10 Lite as the new control tablet. Compared with the previously used Samsung Tab A9+, it offers an improved display and supports an even higher-quality presentation of vehicle models.
The tablet remains the central interface for controlling HeroShow. Sales teams can use it to select models, switch between variants and control the presentation during customer consultations. While the basic operation remains familiar, the new device further improves both display quality and the overall user experience.
Fewer Devices thanks to an integrated SIM Card
With HeroShow 1.0, a separate router was required to connect the tablet and the headset. HeroShow 2.0 eliminates this additional device: the control tablet comes with its own SIM card and establishes the required connection directly and automatically.
This reduces both the number of components required and the amount of cabling. At the same time, the system can be set up more quickly. This is a key advantage, particularly for mobile use or changing presentation locations.
Automatic Updates instead of manual Installation
Another major difference lies in the update process. With HeroShow 1.0, new model content and software updates were installed manually via USB.
With HeroShow 2.0, these updates are carried out automatically over the air. New content, improvements and bug fixes are deployed centrally in the background, without the need for manual installation steps.
For users, this means less administrative effort and the assurance that the system always remains up to date.
Presentation, Charging and Transport in one Suitcase
The physical setup has also been fundamentally redesigned. While presentation and transport were still handled by several separate components with HeroShow 1.0, HeroShow 2.0 combines multiple functions in one multifunctional suitcase.
The new suitcase serves as a transport solution, charging station and presentation platform at the same time. Tablet, headset and accessories are stored compactly inside and are ready for use whenever needed.
This not only reduces the amount of space required, but also simplifies transport between different locations. HeroShow can therefore be used more flexibly in the showroom, at events, for product training or directly at the customer’s location.
Multi-Brand Capability for greater Flexibility
With HeroShow 1.0, each system was designed for one brand. HeroShow 2.0 expands this concept by allowing multiple brands to be combined within a single system.
This enables sales teams to switch between different brands, models and variants within seconds. For multi-brand dealerships in particular, this creates additional flexibility and reduces the need for several separate systems.
The entire model portfolio can therefore be accessed through one central setup – without switching between different hardware solutions.

Conclusion: HeroShow becomes simpler and more mobile in everyday use
HeroShow 2.0 does not change the fundamental concept of HeroShow. Instead, it primarily optimizes how the system is used in day-to-day sales.
Fewer individual components, automatic updates, a direct data connection and the new multifunctional suitcase make the system more mobile and faster to deploy. At the same time, multi-brand capability provides additional flexibility for different dealership structures and use cases.
As a result, mixed reality becomes not only an extension of vehicle presentation, but an even easier tool to integrate as a permanent part of the sales process.
